OK, been ages since I updated this, and loads of stuff has happened, so it's gonna be a long one (oh yes!)
So yes, I can't vouch for chronology of any of this cos I'm not good at remembering and stuff... but yes, I'll start from about March or so, I think that's where I'd gotten up to when I bothered to update it last...
So yes, moved in to my late grandma's house with my sister (cheap rent! yay!) had loads of problems with the painter guy who was an arse and couldn't be bothered to do a proper job and charged us about 3 times as much as he quoted, so that was fun, anyway, we got moved in and stuff and it was all happy, and not a great deal happened for a while other than life in general. Oh, I was doing the odd trip up to Durham to see the bird... but then came to my senses and realised I had to dump her, so did. Then there was Kat and Jon's wedding, which was a really good do the ceremony was all sweet and nice and they both looked really happy and stuff, then the reception was cool, Ceildh thing (if that's spelt right) so lots of spinning around and drunken hilarity and yes, it was all good :)
So, summer came along, errr, it kinda started off with the annual durge purge thing... photos on my site... it was rather drunken and good fun... went kinda wrong and weird at one point, but hey, it was a great weekend and fun was had by all (I think!?!)
Err, at some point I graded at jujitsu and went from Red belt to White belt... competition coming up in a couple of weeks, and another grading in October, so all being well I'll be yellow soon! :>
Um, then I ended up at two 21st birthday parties a week after each other, the first was Hannah's over in Bradford and that was fun, 2 for 1 cocktails for a bit, then student bar prices, fun natterings and stuff... good company and good alcohol... can't say fairer than that! The second was Laura's down in Lincoln somewhere, got very drunk and made a prat of myself trying to play pool :P but yeah, that was a fun do, loads of people there and stuff. And was late to get home to meet my god father and the arch deacon who had been at my parents place for a meal, all very rah like and "intellegent conversaion" stuff *yawn*
I went to durham to watch cricket at one point aswell, and that got washed out by rain, but the tickets were free so it wasn't too much of a pisser... And we ended up going to a barbeque later on which was cool too...
By this stage it was getting towards August... it started off with the crappy news that the two weeks off work I had booked to start on my birthday for two weeks wasn't going to happen cos we got a new lucrative contract at work, so I had to do that (and was supposed to be there for two weeks... I've been there for 5 now and starting week #6 tomorrow, dunno how long that's gonna last, but it's great for Oraplus! So the weekend of my birthday I did the usual meal at parents and stuff, then the weekend after Matt, Rich and Charlie came up for a do, which was very drunken and rich did all my housework, so that was cool :) Weekend after then Dean and Andy came to Blackburn and we had a laugh and got mashed, then I had a weekend off! *shocker* I think the next weekend I went down to London to stay with Jon and Kat, and went over to Ben's to see Ben, Alex and Ben's brother Mark and had a meal which was nice duck and cool bread sauce :) and I got confused by Ben's corkscrew. Oh, and there was a thursday sometime around then when I went into Manchester to meet Trev, Ian and Jess and ended up staying at Jess' flat... she is a woman and has "pet" cocroaches and stick insects... COOL :>
(notice how details are getting more indepth now I've got to more recent times? :P)
So yes, then this weekend I went down to Leamington to meet up with Tim, Stu and Jess and we went to a beer festival and then finished it off with an early morning vigil of whisky and crisps... mmmmn nice whisky... managed to get over the hangover this morning and set off home at about 3.45 got home about an hour ago.
So yes, there you go... what's going to happen next? Um, I dunno, work for a couple of weeks, hopefully get some time off in October, Also Nick is coming over to give me an annual review at some point around then so that'll be cool... I'm planning a grand UK tour to go and see people during my two weeks off in October, that's gonna be great fun :)
Anyway, I'll shutup now, can't think of anything else to write and feeling proud that I've updated this thing for once... That'll prolly be it for another 6 months, but hey, there you go :)

Right, not given an update on stuff for a while, so I will take this opportunity to say whats been going on...
ok, so I lost my job in december, was unemployed for about 5 months, then got a job offer, which my old boss bettered, so now I work from home with free internet and stuff, so yeah cool, more responsibility etc so yeah happy with the job thing.
Last weekend I went to a barbeque with people who did the same course as me at uni, was a bit of a laugh, drank from 2pm til 2am and played guitar for a bit of a singalong which was fun.
During the week I did bits of work, and not a great deal else of interest so I won't bore you with the details...
The weekend just gone I went up to durham again for a reunion with all the old friends I used to hang around with, friday night was the uni club thing, I don't actually like clubs that much but it was ok for a laugh. Then saturday was a lazy day, walked around a bit (they had a rowing event thinggy on the river so watched that for a bit) then played some frisbee, then went to have a barbeque by the side of the river, then to a bar, then to a houseparty and walked home a long way and screwed my hamstring on some steps although I'm not entirely sure how!?!? (yes alcohol was involved... need I say more?) then sunday I drove to my parents place (via manchester to drop off friends) and said happy fathers day to my dad etc... then came home and watched 24 and some other stuff (fantastic program that... really is good!)
then yeah today I had a hell of a day... got up and had to do some bits of stuff, then tried to set up the ADSL... (see marks (languids) journal for details on that!) then some more work, for which I needed to get some software from an italian, "blood from a stone", he fucked off for his lunch in the middle of trying to fix my user priviledges on his network, cunt. still eventually got that sorted (4 hour turnaround time, not good) and then had a quick follow up on that work, then tea and tv and so now, I am winding down with a couple of beers before bed woo!
so yeah, comment on my journal bitches... give me a reason to update it more often, go on, you know you want to!

Well, only today and tomorrow left to get through before going back to england on saturday, I just got back from meeting the déménageur who is moving all our stuff to a storage place tomorrow morning... although luckily after that there shouldn't be too much hassle left, except dropping someone off at the airport tomorrow night, going through the inventory of the apartment with the landlady, tidying the place up for when she comes and then getting ourselves to the airport with all out bags and stuff... not fun!
Then the next step is getting a new job, which should also be a barrel of laughs! oh what fun life is at times, still, I can hardly complain about it being boring!

So yes, I am going to england on monday for 2 weeks, unluckily its not a holiday I have to work while I am over there, although I'll probably see a few people if I get time!

Ok,
I just worked out, that if you keep your feet warm... you don't feel anything like as cold anywhere else *nods* try it sometime... :)
Anyways yes 4am still at work and not feeling too bad, not a great deal to do as the stuff I needed to do is pretty much done, so now its just hanging around and fixing bits of stuff as and when I feel like it :)
I am also very impressed with myself... I actually updated this twice in relatively quick succession, how good is that? :) although that could just mean that I have been very bored recently and had trouble finding things to do... hrm

I had a bigbastard spider in my room last night... like one that was big enough to make you think it was properly poisonous... I left it for a while cos I was looking at it and going "cool, I bet its got like teeth!" and then I read for a bit and next time I looked up it had gone! So yeah I thought I was going to be deaded during the night until I woke up and realised I was still alive :)
So yeah there you go a story with a happy ending, woo :)

Blah, too early, but I've not updated this thing for like years or something so I thought I would.
Just got into work after dropping Mark off at the airport - didn't see much point in going back home to sleep for about half an hour before having to set off again. Actually come to think of it I would have had more time than half an hour to sleep, but hey, nothing like mindless dedication eh?
We have to move stuff around in the office today, should be fun, or not. Luckily most of it has already been moved, so we just have to move the big server, so all the net connections and everything will disappear for a while. This will mean that everyone will be pestering me for most of the day *sigh*. Its a case of making 5 rooms into 2, so everything is getting really cramped, and we might be moving to a different site soon anyway. Part of me wonders why are bothering! Its also going to get really hot aswell as cramped as all the computers are in this room now, and all giving off heat all the time and the airconditioning only works between 7am and 8pm!
Ho hum. Don't really have much to say now - kinda silly me having a journal since I never update the thing and I never have anything much to say when I do, never mind eh.
